  1. Hi Logan! I am glad you made it back from TX safe and sound. I really like your new blog and am looking forward to your ideas.
My main project right now is a 100% linen quilt. I've cut out 6" squares from left over designer fabrics (I work part-time for an interior designer) all in muted tones and sashed in off-white linen all around. I'm going to try to baste it today. It weighs a ton and sheds all over the floor...linen dust everywhere! Many other projects too, but the linen one has got my attention right now!

  2. Hello! So excited to see your new blog! You can never have too many:) I'm currently working on vintage style capes for both of my daughters & my very first quilt. For the quilt, I picked a super easy free pattern from CluckCluckSew (The Strip & Flip Quilt). I can't wait to share these at The Mint Needle Blog too! Thanks for posting such an awesome giveaway!

  5. Love the fabric! No sewing here before the holidays but will be finishing some needlework project (hopefully) for Christmas gifts.
Your sewing machine cleaning tutorial was very straight-forward. I will use it for reference the next time I clean mine. Thanks!

  6. Logan - I'm more then a little jealous of your trip to Houston Quilt Market! I'm sewing Advent Calendars and crocheting baby sweaters just as fast as my little hands can work. And then it's on to a big batch of zipper pouches for holiday gift giving. Please, nobody tell me how many days there are left 'til Christmas!

  14. I love the name of your blog! Cool giveaway. I like the fabric as well (though I really don't need it;) I am working on a crazy quilt, because my scrapbin is overflowing. I have made other sewing projects like doll dresses, pincushions and such, but the quilt is a first.
